Stephen oversees the firm’s 3D department, which encompasses BIM, VDC, and Reality Capture, as well as its SUE department. He works with clients and internal teams, providing support and guidance on applications and idea generation. With an academic and professional background in archeology, preservation is at the core of what Stephen loves, and he takes on every opportunity to contribute to the scanning and modeling of Boston’s historic buildings and structures.
Prior to joining the firm, Stephen oversaw the strategic development of the HP VISTA resource, a high-end data capture, visualization, and spatial analysis facility developed in partnership with HP and the University of Birmingham, UK. His work reached the UK, Italy, Qatar, USA, Egypt, Turkey, Abu Dhabi, and Croatia. Stephen’s work in 3D laser scanning goes back a decade, and his projects span the Eastern seaboard of the United States.
Stephen is passionate about connections and seamless integration across departments, trade partners, and the cities and towns in which he works. He is awed by the number of connections developed in each project and the impact that it has on the life of the community.
